I am fascinated with our individual and collective capacity for growth, resilience, and healing. This interest motivated a non-traditional career path that began with teaching fitness and yoga and eventually led to consulting on international environmental policy. My consistent journaling practice, dating back to middle school, has been essential to my writing career as well as my teaching, coaching, and parenting journey. My background includes studying history at Stanford University, obtaining a Master's in Public Health focused on wellness habits, teaching fitness and yoga for more than 20 years, and working on large-scale environmental initiatives ranging from developing standards for off-grid sanitation to integrating environmental genomics into chemical safety testing. Meanwhile I have enjoyed more than two decades with the love of my life including the amazing experience of parenting our now-teenage daughter.
I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to support a journaling community. The power of this practice cannot be overstated. I truly believe it is THE essential tool to support you in everything you want to accomplish.
